Points Accelerator - Amex - Aeroplan
My current AMEX Gold charge card costs $130 plus $75 for the "points accelerator" feature (this gives me a 50% bonus).

Does anyone know if the Aeroplan AMEX gold card which costs $10 less has the points accelerator option?

Nope. You will earn 1 AE mile/$ for the first $10K, then 1.25 AE mile/$ after that. If you apply before Dec 31; you will AE miles = 10% of your total purchases every year.
