I wonder how many E's would be SE's?

Just a thought as I am one but I realize maybe one of many.

I will reached 75k Q miles this year with all but 15,000 coming from 50% miles fares.

Just wanted to know how many of us domestic flyers would be SE if we received full mileage value like the transborder and international flyers?

I think the number would go up dramatically especially at the Prestige & Elite tier. Remember that Tango fares earn 0% Q miles so some people might fly a lot but have 0 status miles.

How many of us would be SE if AC would look at the "segments" portion and move it to 100?

A return flight a week using segments would easily put me there.I cannot get decent mileage on the Jazz flights.

as a guess, it would be probably those E's that are anywhere between around 42k-84k that would have made SE. Given that currently, E's are anywhere from 30k-84k, i'd say most of the E's would qualify (and of course, most of the P's would make E's and many basic members would make P's).

Hey.... if Aeroplan was so interested in inflating tier memberships for marketing purposes, why not... hmmm... never mind.

I guess the only thing that we are missing from SE is the instant KK and the expanded windows for upgrading.

I think that lowering SE segments to 100 is where is should be. If you are flying 100 segments you should be in the top tier. I will fly about 65 segments this year.

I also agree with Empress that the numbers would probably be larger in P to E. However, many Ps have that status due to one trip to Asia.

Please, please, please tell me, now that the cat's out of the bag, that you'll be doing a 10K MR sometime this month.
