AC to lay off 317 pilots
Major changes coming.
1 Aug the 747 fleet starts to be grounded. Some of these pilots are expected to bump 343 pilots and the ripple effects continues down the fleet.
Add to that the expected report on merged ex CP and AC seniority list and you have major disruptions in the pilot world.
Not a good scenario for the ratification vote.

Nice to know that the babies up front, I mean Air Canada pilots, haven't changed their tune over the years. Quote from article:
