ZIP's Gone From AC Home Page

Interesting development. Did it cause too many problems?

My guess: Probably because you can now book ZIP flights under AC flight numbers. So the ZIP link really isn't necessary - they can further claim that it's a seperate company and you need to go to their website to book ZIP flights.

What a charade! I heard a rumour that the Teamsters filed to have AC declared a common employer of Zip in mid-March....

No dates on the items in the promotions or news panels either now - more cutbacks I guess.

I personally like the 'on the fly web specials' where it says "some conditions may apply". Maybe it's just me, but I would think it should be "lots of conditions always apply"

They're probably just bitter because CUPE got into Zip. Didn't the courts rule against this when the regional pilots tried to get AC declared a common employer? It beats me how any court could say that AC is not a common employer with Zip and Jazz. They're wholly owned by AC, they've gone into bankruptcy with AC and their flights carry AC flight numbers.
