Fare increases for ALL domestic flights

All domestic fares are increasing as of Jan 1 for everything up to Y.

Give me some time and I'll pull together a sample list.

Well a quick scan shows about a 2% to 3% increase which isn't outragreous I guess. Hopefully some of that will be offset with a lower security tax? Hey, its Christmas and I'm supposed to dream.

Who needs a list? Take your current fare and multiply by 1.03 if these numbers are any indication. Thats right folks, a 3% fare increase on all domestic routes. Is this a yearly occurance linked to inflation or just a one-off across the board increase?

With AC almost 13 billion in the hole I'd have thought the increase would've been bigger. Thank heavens for holiday miracles!

Reading through the forum a bit more, anyone find it strange that AC announces a 3% fare increse not long after NAVCAN announces a 3% increase?

Want to invoke the 'Empress promise' and get your money back because I didn't reply within 5 minutes?

They'll need far more than a 3% increase in fares if they are to cover the 3% increase per aircraft!

Yes - just like the Starwood guarantee though, you need to find someone that will reply faster than me, then you'll get your money back.

They will all be processed once I reach my 20K post.

Btw, PreferBulkhead, welcome to FT & the AC forum. See that you just joined yesterday.

Are we still under 10 SEs on this forum?

In that case I better fax in sooner than later - that 20K should happen anytime soon

PS: Thanks for the greeting ... a colleague at work mentioned it - so thought I should pop in for a pint or two

Could not tell you the SE number ... glad I am one yet again - 3rd year running now ... will be tough next year .. but time will tell!

Don't worry - if you hang around here enough, we'll make sure you make it back up there next year. Majority of us here are always willing and ready to help!
