Up to date Aeroplan postings on aeroplan.com?

I logged into aeroplan.com today to see if a recent flight has posted yet and saw under the Balance section that it already has a breakdown of the 250 points I got.

July 1, 2002 AIR CANADA CALGARY VANCOUVER 250

Is it just me or isn't this normally only shown on statement dates? I think I remember that you couldn't see the points breakdown until statement time.

Is it just me or is this something new?

That's a new feature started couple weeks ago. We can now see our real time activities on our account.

Thanks for the explanation. I was away from the computer for a while the last week or so and had missed it.

A very positive move on AC's part.

Nice to have that info and updated so quickly. Now if points from some of their partners (like Park n Fly) would just post . . .

I actually won't mind if they stop sending us paper statements since we can get it online anyways.

A good suggestion Empress. Perhaps AC can get us to register online for e-statements. To entice us, offer some Aeroplan points and AC saves a $$ on postage and handling. Win/Win

Hint, hint.

A couple of weeks ago I was flying SAS with a friend. I did credit the miles to Aeroplan and my friend credit the miles to SAS EuroBonus and I was very surprised when I saw that the miles hit my account before SASs owns EuroBonus. Very impressive AC!

More likely they take a bank-like route and charge for paper statements. WinWin/Lose.
