YUL Get together?
I'm pleasantly surprised to see more and more Montrealer's around here. I was just wondering if Montreal ever had a GT of FT'ers. If not, we may consider having one. What do you think?

There was a major FlyerTalk get together in Montreal in July 2000, with more than 25 participants from all over NAmerica, and a special fly-in visit from Randy Peterson himself. A bunch of us also spent a full day at Air Canada, the morning at Aeroplan, lunch with its two top execs, and the afternoon touring the engine maintenance facility at Dorval. You thinking of paying a visit to RM and company this time?

If Gazou is willing to help in setting up few things with AP, then we may try to do something similar. However, on my own, I don't have the network with AC to have access to everything! I just fly with them (less and less)!
Gazou,
I don't shoot, but you should have keep your employement/employer hidden to us!!
Email-me, if you can help of course!

Folks, May I suggest two options, unless you have other ideas, as I'm not as experienced as some of you might be in organizing a GT..
1- Something very casual, no official AC visit (may be a protest in the cab curb of the Dorval Airport)
a happy hour on Crescent Street (maybe Hurley's!!) then a dinner. Obviously, this kind of event leaves the out of towner out of the loop, unless they happen to be in town at the time of the GT. Specially for the people from the West..that's a long way to go for a drink!!
2- Something more organized, with visit of AC, tour of Mtl for those who don't know one of the most beautiful city in North America, etc...
The other option is to get the Montrealer's together locally and then organise something bigger for the whole community of FT'ers
Any ideas are welcome!

Once we get a date going, I will contact Super Larry and we will get the organisation going. Larry,I will pitch in and try to get some agents from Aeroplan to go to a 5 a 7 or even an evening in one of our wonderful restaurants here. I will also contact the brass and try to get them to come too. Rupert loves to go out, maybe he can come out to play....
