Yahoo! Inspired by Noah Vail's success, I was able to get four *A reward tickets from YYZ-FRA-FLR in First on LH for June/July! I couldn't get the mid-day flights from FRA-FLR that I wanted, but the itinerary is acceptable. The FLR leg is only J.
I'm not Elite until March so I had to spend 1 hr redialing, then 30 minutes listening to the benefits of the new and improved Aeroplan program. The status year starts on March 21st according to the recorded message. Is that the same as last year? Very convenient, right _after_ March break travel.
No problems getting seats YYZ-FRA and return. Wide open for any dates. I was surprised that there were 4 reward F seats available since that's 25% of the cabin. The difficulty was inter-Europe, so we've got an earlier flight leaving FLR than I would have liked. Doug from Aeroplan was very friendly and helpful.
That 400,000 point deduction clears out my account and brings my wife's down to the short-haul level. So now I don't even care that the capacity constraint benefit is gone!
Now, what's the deal with the sweaters?
(edited for my usual poor spelling)

I think this is an error as the francais version says March 1.

There won't be much there to understand, a mighty thin publication I suspect!
