Airport Lineups - (for Nonstatus/Basic Customers)

We are hearing that this weekend, the lineups will be long in Canada and USA.

I just left some family members in Ottawa for a flight to Ottawa - the regular lineup for check-in (which my wife did not have to use, as she is an Elite member) was about 15 minutes. The security line-up was 15 minutes.

My sister left my father for a non-AC transborder flight in Vancouver, yesterday late morning. The AC line-up for domestic passengers was coursing through the international building! - some people were told it was 1 km long!

I wonder how other cities are coping with AC passengers, and the lineups at check-in.

Not bad then... walk in & out of the airport and get 500 Q miles.

Line ups in YEG were manageable on Sat, line up for bag check from the kiosk was 2 minutes, security 5 minutes. Pretty decent I should say.

Sorry, a mistake - I meant to say Ottawa to Toronto - they will be returning back to Ottawa in a few days.

I also meant to say, Xmas Holiday Season Airport Line-ups in the topic, but I understand, one can not edit a title topic of a thread.

And more fun for JFK/LGA/EWR flyers. Just saw on the NY1 news (NYC local news channel) that shoes may be X-rayed at all Port Authority airports, yes, it means taking off your shoes and put them on the belt your carry-ons may carry strange odors after passing through the X-ray machine.

I'll be flying JFK-NRT-HKG tomorrow on UA.
