Best seats on Airbus 320 in Economy

I understand AC uses the Airbus 320 from LAX to YUL--in Economy what are best seats and also seats to avoid? Thanks.

Just came back from several A320 flights down to SFO/LAX, the best seat in the whole Y section is row 12 because it's the bulkhead and there's that empty slot on the bottom of the divider for J & Y where you can really stretch out, however, there's also a chance that you might get a (screaming) kid beside you. The second best is row 13 or 14, it's the exit row so it seems to have slightly more legroom than other rows.

I am not sure whether AC will open up the exit row for you if you don't have any status. Last couple times they assigned me that row when I made the booking.

I try to avoid the back of the A320 if possible because it makes me feel very cramped.

Hope this helps...

I second what Empress said.....except I hate bulkheads.....so you'll always find me in 13-15A.

In my estimation, there is not a bad seat on the A320 family. Beats the DC9 and CRJ anyday.

12A or 12F my favorites seats when in economy. You can stow a briefcase under the divider.

I'd go with the exit row seating for the extra legroom, in all cases. Only catch is, some exit row seats offer no, or only slight, reclining.

Rows 12 (bulkhead) and 13 (exit row) on AC do not recline. Row 14 (exit row) does.

But there is much more room in row 12 than in 13 or 14.

Row 13 does recline on AC's 320. I was in 13D for the my last couple 320 flights.

Oops ... must be just the window seat in those rows that doesn't.
