DL JFK-YYZ

I was pleased to discover that DL is flying from JFK-YYZ. I plan to come home from SVO via JFK next week on Delta's direct service from Moscow and it is nice not to have to shuttle to LGA.

Has anyone flown this CRJ route?

This flight has been there for a while, it provides a convinent connection for those who are travelling to an international destination on Delta or any other other carrier for that fact out of JFK.

Flight #4467 departs YYZ at 2:20pm and arrives in JFK at 4:00pm.

Flight #4468 departs JFK at 6:00pm and arrives in YYZ at 7:49pm.

DL's CRJ's are identical to AC's, as far as I could tell the last time I was on one. The seats are cramped and uncomfortable ... get an exit row if you can.

The flight is operated by Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA). It's been operating that route since June 2000 if I'm not mistaken. Those same CRJs also operate some of the YYZ-ATL flights.

Personally, I like 'em. They are a lot quicker than a DH8, and make for excellent, fast networks.

So they don't have J. Big deal. For a couple of hours, I can live.

A pilot on a YYZ-DCA flight recently mentioned that the CRJ are a little trickier to land........especially if you are avoiding the Capitol dome and the Pentagon.

Sort of akin to a race car. Certainly feels that way sometimes.

I flew YYZ-DCA on the CRJ 2 years ago and I loved the approach into DCA! Probably one of the best airports in North America in terms of close proximity to downtown.

My return flight was BWI-YYZ on an Air Ontario DH8. While slower than the CRJ, the DH8 has more comfortable seats in my opinion.
