I've been hearing good things about the product itself. I think its a case of the unethical Rep trying all that she can to make me signup. I'll give them a call again and complain about it while I contemplate keeping the card.

It happens. If you don't have it in writing, there really isn't much you can do about it.
If you're that unhappy, cancel the card and dispute the $85 on the grounds they didn't deliver what the rep promised.
