United referral promotion?

United referral promotion?
Hi!
My first post here, but I've been lurking for all the great information for a while now.
I got a United promotion in the mail where I can refer up to four people, give them a temporary United FF membership number. If they fly two Y or B roundtrips between May 1 and August 31, 2000 and use this United FF number, they get a 10,000-mile bonus and I get a 10,000-mile bonus per person. Then if they fly one more Y or B RT flight, I guess in the same time period, they will get Premier status until Feb 2001 with United.
Did anyone else get such a thing? Is anyone looking to get United Premier status quickly? If so, let me know, I've got four of these.

I got a similar offer. In my letter, it said the enrooled friend must complete a qualified international roundtrip (in Y class, business or First) between May 1 and August 31. We will both earn 7000 bonus miles for Y class, 10000 bonus miles for Business class and 15000 bonus miles for First class.
Again if the enrolled friend fly two or more international roundtrip, he will qualify for Premier status. I also have 4 of these referral, email me if you are interested.
