AC Acid test: A challenge to the AC crowd (continued)

The previous thread is not allowing further replies, so I'll continue it here. The original thread can be found at: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum5/HTML/000795.html

I'm happy to say that less than 20 hours after sending an e-mail explaining the situation and requesting an adjustment to my account, I received a reply e-mail, apologizing for the "incident" and assuring that my account will have the points added forthwith.

BTW, based on my last flight, I infer that the upgrade instructions on CP's system have been corrected.

(And in a related note, having read this thread again, I just realized that it was suggested that the check-in agent mishandled my file. In fairness, the root problem was not her fault, but rather the improper AC upgrade instructions shown on CP's computers. Neverthess, she still didn't handle it very well.)

And finally, less than 24 hours after the reply, my account shows the 'corrected' mileage, including the 25% COS bonus.

Indeed. But I rather prefer to think of it as "deserved" as opposed to "wanted."
