Is LAX the only major airport with no passenger cars allowed on the property?

Up until todays announcment, LAX did not allow private cars on the airport for parking or drop off/pick up. Today, they announced limited parking on property will be allowed (there are good posts on this announcement). As a resident of Los Angeles, and having been to other airports like JFK in recent weeks - It seems that LAX is the only airport with these restrictions. Questions? What other airport is difficult for passengers to approach, and second - does anyone really know why LAX is having such problems? Thank you. WT
