Does CP Hotels have a frequent stay program? I may be staying at one of their hotels several times in the near future.
Also, can you only get miles for AC or can you get miles for partner airlines? (And if so, which ones?)
Thanks in advance.

You can also earn AMEX Membership Rewards at CP Hotels. Here's a link:
http://cphotels.com
then click on Programs.
Sometime in the future, some of the CP and Princess Hotels will be rebranded as Fairmont Hotels (such as the Scottsdale Princess and Chateau Lake Louise). Fairmont has a deal with American that gives AAdvantage miles. I assume the rebranded hotels will also participate in this.
But I don't think anything's official yet.

the have a frequent guest program, for free: brings you some perks like free health club access (the hotel Vancouver otherwise asks for entrance fees, in many other CP's access is free anyway), etc.
they changed their ff-program from CP to AC this year.

Yes it is the Can Pac Club and they recently started a Platinum level with enhanced benefits (about 40 stays/year required).
I have mixed feelings about this cahin which I fear is/has been in some decline recently. I was going to but stock in this company but last year when the Marriott Eaton Centre was not available, I booked the Royal York. Ultimately, the Marriott opened up and I went there but I visited the royal York when I was there and I was really happy I had no stayed there! I also decided not to buy the company stock of this conglomerate, which I had felt was horribly undervalued. There is a very wide space between their better qulity and some much lower quality properties. I'd previously thought of them as a kind of Westin, between Hilton and Four Seasons. It is more now like Starwood- a Four Points or a St Regis- without the distinctive names! Just my 0.02!

Rudi: Thanks for the information. The first time I stayed at a CP hotel, I asked and was told there was no frequent stay program. Either the information was incorrect, or the program's new. In any case, I'm now enrolled.
