Thanks for the update on the launch. The great thing about this site, unlike the altavista.com rewards site, is that it actually tallies your points are you surf from link to link.

I think Idiot is uncalled for. The poster is obviously new and Doc's post did not indicate his link was "required" reading.
Let's all try to be a bit more civil.

My apologies for letting you know my FreeAir ID. I am not looking for referral miles, just wanted to let everyone know they were up and running (sorry DOC). Especially since there was a lot of negative talk about them. They seem to be beating the odds so far.
I mentioned before that their site is going to be great for a guy like me who has a family of 5. They will definately lighten the financial load of round trip ticket purchases. Better they buy them for me for simply surfing the web.
Happy surfing.....Duke II

Please keep in mind, folks, that these are NOT frequent flyer miles, as originally advertised. The are "freeairmmiles.com" miles, and cannot not be used in conjunction with ANY existing frequent flyer accounts.
The original affiliation with Delta SkyMiles appears to have gone done the tube. At present, you cannot even use these "miles" for airline tickets, although that is being touted as "in the works".
How many "free airmile" miles do you think will be required for a free flight--if it ever happens!
This site has promised alot, and has changed the rules at every juncture. You've got nothing to lose but time for raking up these miles now, but what you can do with them in the future is still a big question.

Duke, I'm sorry that I was really terse about posting in the wrong forum. What CMDR CATCOP should have realized was that there are new people here who are feeling their way around here (as essxjay so eloquently explained.)
So keep on posting and I look forward to posts from everyone.

C'mon old-timers. Let's cut the newbies a little slack and show a little more class when suggesting that they should post in the correct forum. We've all been in the position of coming into a forum for the first time and not quite knowing the lay of the land.
