"beat the system" tip #26: which side to walk in the concourse

In the US, people walk on the right. In Australia, on the left. In England they walk all over the place, saying "Sorry," to each other.

Except in England, there is usually a discernible flow which, if you follow it, will significantly cut down on your head-on collisions.

The English collisions could be due to the fact that the British drive on the left, while Europeans and North Americans drive on the right. Anyone who's spent much time in London & in & around its airports, will tell you that many, if not most, of the people you find there are not English at all!

Although in JFK and LAG... people run from
one side of the concourse to the other,
zig zagging, smashing into people and instead
of saying "SORRY" using the foulest language!

Maybe it's because both airports are so big
nobody knows where they are going. CATMAN
