I'm so proud!
after discovering this great website earlier this year and indoctrinating a fellow co-worker on the wonders of collecting FF miles, he's decided to head off on his first mileage run this weekend (IAD-FRA on UA). Absolutely useless trip to Germany, but it saves the company some coin, puts a few more revenue dollars into the coffers of United Airlines and gets him that much closer to his first *A Gold status!
Next up, both of us a conference trip from YYC-MSY with a "cost-saving" ORD-SIN side-trip mileage run to really put a smile on my face!

Fermat: Not to ruin your party but thought I should give you the heads up that UA is discontinuing HKG-SIN & HKG-LAX as of Oct 1 as part of their 20% reduction in capacity. So you might want to call UA if you happen to be on one of those flights.
