July Satement compensation adjustment
I finally received my July statement, among the entries for various segments, Telus Connect, Future Shop etc, I notice there is an entry called:
Compensation Adjustment........5,000 points
What is it, I didn't ask for it, surely AC isn't being proactive here. readers of the board will recall I was given a 75$ coupon off AC ticket for two full paid J Class rides on purple Elvis, is it related?

It is compensation for AC screwing up on the meals when they switched from LSG to Cara. For 5 days in a row flights left without food, there wasn't enough etc. See Ken's account of his journey. This is AC's way of making things right.

I have rec'd two compensation adjustments in the last couple of months. One for a YHZ-YYZ flight with mechanical problems that they had to bring in another plane (5000 miles) and the other was for YQU-YEG for computer problems with the plane at YQU (2500 miles). In both cases I didn't ask for anything, a letter just arrived in the mail saying were sorry and here are the points.
