Confirmation of Cdn+ sticker-eligible NAmerican fares

As posted elsewhere, I had a very difficult time convincing agents at both YYZ and YEG that V-class fares were eligible for upgrading by Elites and SEs with Y2000 stickers (whites and blues expiring Feb28/2001) on North American flights of both AC and CP metal.

There is first confusion, apparently, over the Grey and Red Y1999 stickers that are no longer useable at all, and the Y2000 threshold White and Blue stickers in the blue folder. Some agents insist the latter are also no longer acceptable, and that only the Whie and Blue stickers found in the Benefits Handbook can be used. And that these stickers can only be used on the fares listed in the book: Y, B, H, K and M. Since CP never had a V fare [I believe this corresponded to the K fare], of course it could not have been specifically included in either the booklet or folder.

Can CPYVR, or someone else with AC or CP, please post the actual reference that identifies CP-eligible fare codes and stickers so I can quote it next time I check in? I recall there was a reference posted heere a while ago, but I cannot find it. I assume this would be the same as AC-eligible fare codes. Thanks.

This is a response I got from the SE desk on Jan 3 regarding upgrades:

....To give you a brief breakdown of the eligible fares for using an upgrade certificate on Air Canada flights, you must be booked in a published fare in either V,H, B, M, or Y Class to be able to upgrade to Executive Class...

Empress, thanks but your quote won't help since it refers to "certificates" which are Aeroplan and have the proper eligible fares printed on them. My problem deals specifically with Cdn+ Y2000 sticker folders and booklets which don't mention V-class specifically. Therein lies the problem with check-in agents agreeing to accept them.

However, I did get the following in an email from another FlyerTalker:

The remaining question is on which fare codes (as a middle tier Canadian
Plus Gold member) can the 2000 system-wide stickers be used in North
American flights?

My understanding is:

For CP-operated flights (CP metal): Y,M,B,H, and V.
For AC-operated flights (AC metal): Y and M.

Am I correct.
