Security lines at LAX-Bradley Term.

Security lines at LAX-Bradley Term.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I couldn't find one that would be appropriate.
I was just wondering if anyone has recently experienced the security (and/or QF check-in) lines at the Bradley Terminal at LAX. We are flying QF in C to AKL at 8:15P on 11Nov and want to know what to expect. I will still get there 3 hours before, but would like to go to the Theme Rest. after check-in to plane spot and for a drink before the flight, but don't want to risk missing the flight while waiting in the security line when we return.

I went through there on Monday at 11AM. No lines at all, I haven't gone through security any faster any time before. Less than 10 minutes from check-in to the gate. Now what do you do the remaining 2 hours and 20 minutes?
