"Entertainment" discount honored by several airlines
Maybe all FT'ers are already using this discount, but if any are not, it can save a few extra dollars on leisure tickets...
"Entertainment" 2000 book, which offers 2-for-1 discounts at restaurants in various cities, also has a travel offer included. Listed airlines are NW and CO, but I called AA and they honored it for our trip to the Montreal FAQ. In summary....
Discounts range from $20 to $160 per round trip. Maximum four discounts per traveling party.
"Peak offer"...June 1 to Sept. 5, 2000
Use code ET260....
saves 10-15% on tickets of $175 or more
saves 15-20% on those same tickets if you fly Tues., Wed., or Thurs.
"Off-peak offer"...Sept. 6 to Dec. 14, 2000
Use code ET290....
about $5 -$10 more discount per ticket.
General rules...Saturday night stay required; holiday blackouts apply.
Discounts apply to domestic AND international tickets.
Can be used with a travel agent if you wish, or booked online.

I booked my reservation online to get the 1,000 mile AA online bonus, then called and had the discount applied before I picked up the tickets at a city ticket office.
There is a "membership number" on my Entertainment card, but it was not asked for. All I did was call AA and ask them to subtract the discount from my reservation before the tickets were issued. I don't know whether DL or TW or any others will honor it, but AA sure did, and that's $90 more I have to spend in Montreal! ($30 X 3) Hey, it sure can't hurt to ask!

Thanks Captain! I forgot all about that. Perfect timing for some holiday planning ahead. Thanks again.

I assumed that DL would honor the 2000 coupons. I personally called DL in Oct of last year and they said that they were honoring the ent. coupons. Maybe they discountinued after last year?
