E-Ticket receipts

I had my first EI E-ticket experience last week; fine apart from one thing - a receipt! (For expense purposes).

UA will always print you something at check-in or at the ticket desk but the EI service desk advised me to call reservations and ask for them for an official receipt of some sort.

They also told me that my company really should accept a printed e-mail as proof of purchase. :-)

I don't know your corporate policy, but the IRS generally will accept an e-mail confirmation.

I don't think tax returns will be a problem - t's just for the expense declaration I need the receipt.

EI reservations have promised to send me something official looking. They don't intend to give customers the option not to e-ticket a reservation but maybe a "send me a paper receipt" check-box would be a good idea?
