We could probably give you more useful suggestions if you told us where your miles/points are.

It will help to know where your miles are, but I can give you my experience last year with the Star Alliance. Until October of last year, there was only one airline in the Star that had ONE award US-Prague and that was AustrianAir. I believe that they changed that, because a friend tried to do it and was told the policy changed. So if that is indeed the case, then it actually takes 2 awards to get to Prague from the US (i.e. NYC-FRA, FRA-PRG). Also, since business class on any flight into Prague (CzechAir, Lufthansa, BA, Austrian) isn't very special, so maybe go for the standard award on that segment.

Are you staying at the new 4 Seasons?

Better yet than the standard intra-European award...take the train. If you have to go *A and force you to use two awards, book a J class award to MUC or VIE and train up--the ride isn't very long and not worth an extra 25,000-40,000 miles, in my book.

If you haven't been to PRG yet, your in for a real treat--it's an amazing city.

The Plan Ahead AA/BA award (AA to London/BA to Prague) is 90k AA miles each in business - you can stop over for free in London if you want.

You can also try going using LOT Polish Airlines, via Warsaw. The service on LOT is excellent, and the flight from WAW to PRG is short. Check out the Airline Partenrs link on the Aadvantage site at AA.com. 90K miles are required for a business award. However, there may be restrictions on this route (although the website does not indicate this, as LOT is an AA partner).
