What does this article have to do with earning miles?

What's your point, UpgradeMe?

Since The Buzz! is the place to Discussion of the latest frequent flyer buzz..., I don't see why this is misplaced.

There are forums solely for discussion on earning miles, they are Mileage Run and S.P.A.M..

Best regrads,

Toxa

Isn't there a forum General Traveltalk? Never mind, a vast majority of topics posted here have nothing to do with FF miles anyway.

PG,

Discussion of the latest frequent flyer buzz...

I am a frequent flyer and I'm interested in much more things related to travel than solely FF miles.

Where it is written The Buzz! is to only discuss miles? I'll repeat: Discussion of the latest frequent flyer buzz... Where is the word "miles" on that sentence?

Don't get me wrong, please.

There has been discussion of this in the past - my understanding of the discussion at that time is that the Buzz forum was meant for general mileage (and by general I mean not specific to one airline) related topics. General TravelTalk was for travel related discussion not related to miles, so a discussion of aircraft seats seems more appropriate in that forum. The description of that forum is "Discussion of everything BUT frequent travel programs". Now a strict interpretation of that description would not preclude "Omni" topics either in the "General TravelTalk" forum.

There are a lot of threads in other forums like Continental, Northwest, United etc. which have at least a 100 replies. So there are frequent flyers who are buzzing about those topics. Do those threads belong in the Buzz?

PG,

I think you're wrong. Check this thread Randy just posted to The Buzz!: New Luggage Tags......

It seems the boss agrees with me: The Buzz! is not regarding just miles, but any "buzz" that matters to FTers.

Edited for html.

Ok, I stand corrected. Using this definition is there any topic that would be inappropriate to post to Buzz? Should I be posting my SPAM or Northwest messages on the Buzz?

Let me be the first to post a normal reply to this message...

I love BA's seats, if every long haul operator would have these seats flying would become a lot nicer!

ScottC, Good for you. Surely the content is more important than the location.

I think this whole discussion is for beancounters...really, unless something is offensive or radically out of line/place, who cares?
