A Nice Deal From Dollar
I sure wish FT would get an official forum for these guys. Never-the-less itsa $109.99/wk anywhere in the USA (but only at participating locations) and here is how to book:
1- Use the Expedia web site www.expedia.com and go to the car rental page.
2- Enter your rental information, such as the dates you need the car and your pick-up location.
3- Click Verify Rate and Continue on your car choice and then proceed through your traveler preferences.
4- In the Select A Rate option, click Special or Advertised Rate, and enter EXCC1 in the Rate Code box.
Your reservation will be confirmed at the discounted rate ($109.99/wk) after you complete your reservation. And you get miles too. Good luck.

Thanks for posting, but...
I had a hell of a time with this "special" about 2 weeks ago.
The problem is that you have to confirm a higher rate, in my cas almost $300 for a Ford Escort, before it allegedly gives you the lower rate.
One problem, it never gave me that rate. I spent about 2 hours tryting to get rid of this $300 reservation. The explanation I got was that it was "subject to availability". O.k. Well, shouldn't I be able to see the rate I want before I confirm it?
This was a huge debacle for me when I tried it. Good luck.

The rate is for a compact car, and I had absolutely no problem booking it. My best guess the NYC locations etc are excluded as usual as well as any large convention locations.

I agree with MisterNice about adding a Dollar forum on FT. We rented with Dollar not long ago, (at FLL airport), and had fast service both at check-in and check-out, got a new car (1,000 miles), and fast response to my e-mailed question from their customer service department. And no long line-ups at the terminal, as the "big boys" had.
