Proposed strikes may close all London Airports
It has been announced here today that 24 hour strikes proposed by airport Firemen and security staff (they are in the same union) could seriously disrupt travel on the following dates.

This will affect LHR, LGW, and STN and all BAA operated airports in the UK.
I am sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings but you may want to keep your options open. I am hoping that pressure from the airlines with the Christmas rush will force the BAA to settle.
At the moment it is envisaged that this could effectively close allthese airports.
