Travelocity marking up Published Fares?
Hey gang... as some of you know, I'm a Travel Consultant and have access to the tariffs and any form of ticketing, and I can't help but notice that Travelocity's fares are $20 higher than the fares loaded into the Worldspan system. The airlines publish their rates through a clearing house and Travelocity gets theirs through Sabre, but still....
Case in point.. <FlyerTalker> and I purchased the $178 TRNR UA fare from Vegas to NYC via United.com on a mini-mileage run/holiday in August. It's ALWAYS been $198 on Travelocity. And it's ALWAYS been $178 for as long as I can remember.
Anyone else noticing this?

I guess I'm used to doing:
>4FLASNYC
then using the base fare as a guide and just add $50 to it for taxes, etc.....
But even if travelocity adds the fuel surcharge in, they're still off as the ATA prices are $10 to $20 lower in my PUBLISHED system (being Worldspan).
