<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">WAITING FOR OSAMA
ACT I
An airport corridor. A pay phone.
ESTRAGON: (idly tucking a leg of his camouflage pants into his boot) When was September 11?
VLADIMIR: (staring blankly into the barrel of his rifle) September 11.
ESTRAGON: No. Yes, of course. No. I mean, how long have we been here?
VLADIMIR: Fifty years. Forever. Who knows? Remember when the passengers started taking off their shoes?
ESTRAGON: The socks! (shudders and pinches nostrils) Just tell me how much longer we stay.
VLADIMIR: (pause) Until he comes.
ESTRAGON: You're sure he's coming?
VLADIMIR: They said it was a credible threat. </font>
