Delta Frequent Point Available Seats
First time poster. Please be gentle.
Is there any way to expeditite the process of booking flights using DL FF points other than trial and error? Is there a source that tells the remaining available FF seats?
I know that if I am willing to use more FF points this is not an issue. This is for an international flight. Thanks

Welcome to FT.
I don't know of any sites which display FF availability, although I believe that a few of the airlines are starting to add this "self-help" feature to thier websites. This would be an extremely convenient enhancement to the airlines' websites that would also free up their FF agents from having to spend time with customers who are still just planning thier trips but aren't ready to commit yet.
Whenever I need to book a FF award ticket and it is not a simple itinerary or if the trip is a very important one (VACATION!),I visit my local CTO. I have found that the CTO agents are able to spend a bit more time with you than the phone agents. It is just that the phone agents have to handle calls from people all over the country, while the CTO has the luxury of concentrating on customers who are visiting the CTO.
Good luck.

This may not be EXACTLY what you were looking for (couldn't tell if you were expecting a list of dates, flights & seat availability)..but the UA website will let you input your proposed travel dates and cities and then tell you what flights have seats available (or that there are no seats available). If nothing shows up with a saver award you can input standard award instead to see if you could do it using more miles..
Pretty handy if you want to get an idea if there's anything available..
