This Summer Hyatt Gold Passport Program Offers Huge Bonuses
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 8, 2000--
From June 1St Through August 31, 2000, Members Can Earn Up to 25,000 Bonus Points or 15,000 Miles, Upgrade to Gold Passport's Elite Platinum Status After Only 3 Stays
Members of Gold Passport(R), Hyatt's worldwide frequent guest program, will be able to earn up to five free nights or 15,000 airline bonus miles from June 1, 2000 through August 31, 2000.
During these dates, beginning with their third stay, members can earn either 5,000 bonus points or 3,000 bonus miles per stay. If members choose Gold Passport points for their stays, they can earn a maximum of 25,000 points, which is valid toward free nights at Hyatt hotels and resorts around the world. If the member chooses miles for their stays they can earn up to 15,000 bonus miles good toward a free flight on participating airlines. Hyatt currently enjoys partnerships with 24 airlines around the world. Members earn such bonuses on their 3rd through 7th stays during the promotional period.
This summer's bonus points are in addition to the standard Gold Passport points or miles members can earn on each stay. All bonuses will be automatically credited to the members' account.
Additionally, as an added benefit, Gold Passport members will be upgraded to Platinum status after their third stay during the promotional period. Platinum status normally requires 5 stays or 15 nights in a calendar year. This elite tier has its special reservation line, point bonuses, certificates after every third stay valid for complimentary upgrades, amenities and special discounts on Hyatt services and more.

Great promo Burkey... but I hope it's not lost in all these certain "C" lines.
YOu might want to post a link from the Hyatt forum.
But I'm wondering if these platniums will be differentiated from the Platniums like Beckles who earn their high status by sleeping at Hyatt a lot.

Hey, what I like about this is the offer period. I've been hitting Marriott hard during their double points period, which lasts until June 30. Starwood has come up with a nice counteroffer: earn up to 6,000 bonus SkyMiles after four stays through - you guessed - June 30.
So I'll have to check out Hyatt in July, unless something better comes along!
