Online Booking Software

On November 30 US Airways is discontinuing its Priority Travelworks booking system which was run on Compuserve. Users are now directed to the regular website where a new, but less versatile program called Personal Travelworks is used. Anybody know if any airline still makes available individual software which links to their CRS? Although this particular software was provided by US, it had a great deal of data for other carriers, including pricing, seat maps, and a comparison shopping feature for fares.

Seems to be a common trend. United Airlines had similiar software which is being (or has been) phased out and moved over to their web version.

Priority Travelworks software was supposed to be one of the perks of making elite status with US Airways.

United's United Connection software is still up and running. And if I have my way, it'll be up and running forever.

I still want my plain-looking (but extremely useful) dumb old text-based EasySabre back. It'll be years before somebody builds the functionality it had into an internet product.

It is so true that the discontinuation of Easy Sabre was a step back. Further, ITN's new format is a step back also for power users. Too bad Sabre or Apollo will not sell a software based CRC that can be contacted over the internet. Does anybody know if there is a site that uses Worldspan?
