New Australian Supermarket Scheme

Hi all

It was announced in the Australian Financial Review recently that Woolworths (one of Australia's major supermarket chains) and the Commonwealth Bank are wooing Qantas as a partner for a forthcoming supermarket frequent flyer scheme.

I have tried to dig up a link on the Internet for this news but sadly the news article I found requires payment for viewing.

At any rate this new scheme appears well advanced and might just introduce a bit more competition into the market.

cheers Peter

Woofie - Perhaps this helps? http://www.mastercard.com/about/press/990712b.html

No mention of Quantas, but it wouldn't surprise me to see it happen at some time.

Cheers,

'toad
