United Flight Bumps Drop 79 Percent

In the wake of United Airlines’ public relations nightmare following Dr. David Dao’s removal from a flight on April 9, the rate at which the carrier removes people from flights dropped by 79 percent in May, according to a recent news release.

According to United spokesperson Megan McCarthy, the drop in bootings “is a direct result of the initiative we rolled out in April to be more customer-focused.”
