United Found Not Guilty in David Dao Scandal

United Airlines successfully avoided paying any fines for the now-infamous incident involving the forcible removal of passenger David Dao earlier this year. The United States Department of Transportation found that Chicago security personnel did not act in any unwarranted way while dragging Dao from the flight in footage that has since become widely available.

United claims to have made “meaningful strides that improve our customer experience” in the wake of the incident.

How ironic. Considering how many passengers have avoided fines for abusive behavior. Lawyers love to blame it on medication, illness and alcohol. Chalk one up for the airlines versus hundreds and hundreds of air rage cases throughout the years.
