‘Toddler Terrorist’ Summoned to U.S. Embassy

Harvey Kenyon-Cairns, a 3-month-old infant, was denied travel after his grandfather accidentally selected “yes” on a question reading: “Do you seek to engage in or have you ever engaged in terrorist activities, espionage, sabotage, or genocide?” The baby was subsequently summoned to the United States Embassy to address the error along with his grandfather.

Paul Kenyon, the grandfather, said, “I couldn’t believe that they couldn’t see it was a genuine mistake and that a 3-month-old baby would be no harm to anyone.”

“Baby Harvey was good as gold for the interview and never cried once – I thought about taking him along in an orange jumpsuit, but thought better of it. They didn’t appear to have a sense of humour over it at all and couldn’t see the funny side,” Kenyon said.

Those US government forms are intended to be impossible for anyone without a degree to get right. I can't blame the poor grandfather. Staff really do need a modicum of common sense when reviewing them.

Will this follow this poor baby for the rest of his life? Will this child always get secondary screening, forever. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neUaSTSKFZc From 04:30 You be the judge

Whos going to answer yes except by mistake. Do they think a person is seriously going to day "Yes, i worked to subvert the government and kill people"?

It's no laughing matter. That question has tricked every terrorist and has been used to foil every plot since 9/11. It's a huge cost savings to just ask everyone if they seek to do terrorist things.

So, in other words, the grandfather still has not learned how to be a responsible adult yet. He made the mistake. Own up to it, and take responsibility without complaining about it.
