A United Airlines flight en route to Los Angeles International Airport was forced to divert Monday after the cockpit (and the cabin soon thereafter) began filling with smoke mid-flight. No fires were ignited onboard Flight 6517, which returned to Tucson International Airport (TUS), according to a TUS spokesperson, though the disruption did cause delays. The incident is under investigation.
