SFO’s ‘Therapy Pig’ to Eliminate Travelers’ Stress

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) has added a new member to its erstwhile dog-only Wag Brigade: LiLou, a spotted pig who was certified as a support animal by the Animal Assisted Therapy program. LiLou performs tricks like waving at passengera with her trotters, playing a toy piano (complete with a post-recital bow), standing on her back hooves, and/or greeting guests with her snout.

“I can see that she is happy showing off her tricks and getting her praise,” said Tatyana Danilova, LiLou’s owner.

“It also brings positive emotions to me seeing that we can do something good for the community and bring more smiles in some unconventional way.”
