OKC Among Top Airports for Carry-on Guns, Says TSA

Will Rogers World Airport (OKC) in Oklahoma City has joined several domestic airports in the country in which security has uncovered a huge rise in loaded firearms concealed in carry-on luggage, according to a statement from the Transportation Security Administration.
Five passengers flying through Will Rogers in August were caught carrying loaded guns in their carry-on bags, marking the highest number in a month for Oklahoma City so far in 2016.
In preparation for Labor Day weekend, the TSA has reminded flyers that firearms are not permitted in carry-on bags and should instead be carried unloaded within checked luggage in a locked, hard-sided container that is declared to the airline during the check-in process.
