Bird Collision Grounds AA Flight

American Airlines Flight 2310 returned to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) 30 minutes after takeoff Wednesday afternoon after the Airbus 321 collided with a bird mid-flight. The pilot reportedly told air traffic controllers: “Looks like we hit some birds after takeoff, we’re gonna need to go back and have the airplane looked at.” Seattle-Tacoma International Airport added that a dent embedded in the nose of the plane was the result of the bird collision.
