Stayed at this hotel when working with FEMA to assist hurricane affected individuals.  Price of hotel was $5.00 above allowed rate for my job.  Spoke with General Manager (Bret) who informed me and another crew member that he would have to remove our breakfast from our room to lower the rate $5.00 We asked if there was another way and he said no and that we needed to turn our breakfast vouchers in.  My crew member called customer service who was rude and made her cry. 

I also had an issue with the breakfast where the server served my omlette to another customer.  The other customer after about five minutes asked if the omlette that was served to him was correct because it contained the wrong meet. About that time another omlette came up at the window and the server brought the omlette that was on his table to the window and grabbed the new omlette for the other customer. She gave him the new omlette and then proceeded to give me the omlette that was given to the other customer initially. 

I placed a so not disturb hanger on my door when I went to bed at night and knew I was going to sleep in on my one day off.  I woke up early and grabbed some breakfast.  When I came back a letter was under the door letting me know the cleaning crew could bring me fresh towels if I needed them and that I just needed to let the front desk know.  Since the cleaning crew had already been by my room I removed the do not disturb notice.  I was sleeping around 2pm when I hear a quite knock on my door. By the time I had time to get up there was a cleaning member through my door.  From then on I had my door locked with the deadbolt and the other bar across the door in fear they would walk in at anytime.

I contacted another hotel - not affiliated with Hilton where the manager was shocked at what he had heard and offered me and my crew member a lower rate, larger room, and a free breakfast.  I normally do not stay at Hilton properties as I tend to have bad experiences, however I gave them a chance again and sure enough they made me feel unimportant.
