I'd woken up at 2 a.m. to drive from the Fuji area to the Toyosu Market for the Sushidai opening, partially so I'd be exhausted enough to sleep at this point: 2 p.m. local time. After a bit of tossing and turning, I was able to sleep for about 7 of the 12 hours overall.
