Windowless window seat?
I cannot find a consistent answer as to which seat is the window seat without the window on the Westjet 737-800. Does anyone know definitively? I'm rather anxious, and just need to be able to see outside - so a window seat that is missing a window would be a problem.
Thank you!

I would believe Aerolopa rather than Seatguru. Seatguru is notoriously out of date. Aerolopa attempts to show properly scaled seat maps and was put together recently with input from people on Flyertalk.

It's interesting that row 9 has a window on the starboard side but not the port side. Is this correct? If so, why? Seems odd.
I also note it doesn't give seat pitch data unless it's hidden somewhere.

They provide seat pitch data for some airlines, but not all. Again, I'm not sure why, since they obviously needed the seat pitch to draw the diagrams.
Their diagrams are very useful for locating missing windows, exit door slides that encroach into legroom, visuals of bulkhead legroom, etc.

The asymmetric missing window on the port side is for the main air conditioning duct run. It is not on original classic 737s due to them having a lower capacity system that used several small ducts running between the windows, but is on the NG and MAX versions where higher capacity cabin cooling is needed.
