Wait, 'can' or 'have to'? I had to go back a few months ago for a work thing... The food was still pretty inedible, outside of the sopapillas. The odder thing was trying to match my memories from friends' birthday parties (from all of 20 years ago) to what I was seeing as an adult. Funny how few things matched to what I remembered, even though the place seems to have barely changed.

A few minutes south of Denver, the Old Stone Church Restaurant.
In my top 5 restaurant meals. |

I don't remember the food at all. We may not eat much, but I want to see if the place matches my memories. Seriously, I don't think we'll recognize much of Denver (where we lived) or Boulder (where I worked) from 35 years ago.

Yes, I am serious. Even though they are around the country, I don't see any advantage to visiting Elway's. IMO, they are overpriced, and the food quality is bit poor.

What do you guys think of Rioja in Denver? I think it was a good restaurant for a reasonable price.

I've heard good things, but I'm intrigued by the 'reasonable price' comment. Looking over their dinner menu, that seems on the way upper end of what I'd ever pay for a meal in Denver. Granted I don't bother with the steakhouses here (Oliver's or Marcyzk's generally have better meat anyways), so maybe that's the difference?

I think it is reasonable price for the same quality meal in say NYC but is definitely more expensive than the average Denver restaurant (but well worth it in my opinion.)
