It sounds like that won't happen until (after) the 9th. That is also when points will become transferrable VX > AS.

Mine was "linked" over the weekend and status matched. They are not really linked in the way that SPG/MR rewards accounts are linked. It is more that the two accounts were matched to recognize that the same person "owns" both accounts. You can't move any points or redeem across accounts.

Yeah that's what I meant. It seems like some people are getting matched before January 9th, and I just gotta be patient lol

I have Elevate Gold this year 2016. Will not re-qualify for 2017.

Online my account says Renewal Date is 01/01/17.
My virtual card says the Gold status expiration is 01/17.

Will my status expire on January 1st? Or will it be later on January 31st?

The only reason I care/ask is for the linking of accounts on January 9, 2017 with a new Alaska account and the (possibility) of matching the current Elevate Gold with elite status on Alaska for 2017.

Thanks in advance if you know! ^

When you say "virtual card" - where are you looking at for this?

When you attain elevate gold Virgin America sends you an email with a link to your "virtual card" since they physically don't print one any longer.

Looks like on the front page, i do see a place where you can link to see your card, but it doesnt indicate that i have Gold Elevate status

I thought they were extending your status an extra year

Here is a picture (minus my credentials) of what the digital card is. The only other info displayed on the front is name and elevate #.

You might try this link:

Either the offer you clicked on has expired, or we are no longer accepting responses from the form you submitted.

It sounds like a snafu on your Gold Status on the IT side of VX
