Right but I don't think they will mind booking before getting the arbitrary email confirmation

You're kidding right?

Just in case you aren't, this is from the new, updated terms:

await receipt of an email to confirm registration for the promotion and then book new roundtrip flights operated by JetBlue
I don't see any ambiguity there, and that wording was added after the initial terms were posted.

I'm pretty sure they have it set up so that you meet the criteria by booking and flying after you are approved.

Would flights booked on Priceline or Expedia be eligible?

except that they clearly spell it out. you'll have no argument when they don't award you points because your round trip was booked before entering the promotion. we're trying to help.

Just sent the request to Jetblue.

Data point:

Citi Thank you points transfer was in my account within an hour of transfer. Transferred today around 1 p.m. Eastern.

Transferred a small number of citi points to augment my SPG points to get above one of the tiers. Still awaiting the SPG points (submitted about the same time).

Thanks. Would 2 one way trips work?

mster Jun 28, 2016 10:14 pm

Be careful when you send in your screenshot to use the account landing page and *not* the my account page.

They have a reference screenshot and will reject anything that isn't a match. Even if it shows your first / last name and points balance.

Why not just book a R/T ticket to a place you'd enjoy going for a long weekend?

The timing is crap. I basically have four major trips between now and the end of August (and then I have the election to deal with), so...jamming in a day-trip somewhere is my best bet. Honestly, if I didn't have to do a round-trip I'd probably do RIC-BOS-LGA and then take Amtrak NYP-RVR (putting me a short taxi ride from my car).

SST Jun 28, 2016 11:03 pm

I sent BOTH those pages, and still haven't heard. Submitted to JetBlue Sunday am early.
