Does a VS flight with a Singapore flight number count?

Does a VS flight with a Singapore flight number count for elite status with United?

Oh btw, UA MP miles maybe worthless to you compare with OZ, but do you know OZ has a much higher mileage requirement than others for awards, plus miles expire for a period of time no matter you fly or not, therefore it is basically meaningless to accure miles with OZ other than to gain status.

What does Asiana Club have to do with the quality of United's catering?

Don't forget you can register and get a bonus 50,000 miles too. That would push me towards UA for sure (on top of your 1K quest), since that's well on the way to another (free) C ticket to Europe.
