Delayed Bag Question

Hoping for a quick answer to a 3 questions... I should already know the answer, but I don't :( (Background provided)...

Background:
Checked 1 bag for a flight from BWI - ORD.... (We were in F)

Flight departed BWI at 9:15 AM and arrived in ORD approx 10:00 AM

Bag did not arrive with us :(

Agent advised that bag was re-routed from BWI - DEN - ORD and arriving in ORD at 3:46pm...

Bag arrived in Chicago at approx. 3:45pm but due to "operational" delays in ORD, they can't guarantee delivery to my hotel until midnight or later....

3 Quick Questions:
1. Does United Owes us any Compensation for purchases of necessities due to a 12+ hour wait for the bag?
2. Is there anything that can be done to expedite the delivery from the airport to the hotel?
3. Is there a direct telephone number to ORD Baggage Services so I can avoid calling India?

Thanks!!!

1. maybe.... if overnight, save your receipts and you might get a partial re-imbursement. Also, if you are still at ORD, go to where you filled the claim, ask for a stranded traveler kit (shampoo, razor, etc).
2. nope
3. not that I am aware of.
