No, you can post this here. We can assume that you mean whatever lounge UA uses at that station. HKG has an RCC, even though the TG lounge is VERY nice and useable by you, and PVG does not have an RCC, but a contracted lounge I believe.

September 13 Toronto Transborder Terminal - Maple Leaf Lounge between 7 and 8 pm.

If DCA RCC considers YYZ flights are international, then I will be there between 12:30 to 1 pm on September 10.

You should definitely be allowed access under UA's rules.

Calendar is updated.

SFO: AAer curious about the RCC

So I'm eating a quick lunch at the food court in SFO, and I see the big UA logo etched on a huge sliding glass door. Well, now I'm curious!

I'll be making the weekly trip to SFO... I'll likely have time to meet up with someone (if they're willing) on Fridays 1:30-2:30pm until the end of the year (AA SFO-LAX flight at 2:45).

And of course, I'll be more than happy to bring someone into the fabulously well-stocked and huge AC at SFO :D

Just throwing it out there, on the off chance of meeting some FTers from the other side....

Thanks.

(As an aside... would it be odd to see a pilot coming out of the RCC? I thought it was.)

There is actually a long corridor behind the glass etched door with crew doors in the hallway. You are correct tht uniformed crew is not allowed in the RCC, IIRC even if they are being invited by RCC members

BTW - where are the AA gates? No food near there? Just curious as I only know the terminal with the SF gates and the international terminal at SFO.

While you are 100% correct and it is almost certain that this was the case, there is one more option. Some crew members buy memberships to other airline's clubs, since there is technically no rule against it, and they can then have a quiet place to wait as well. Chances are more than likely that they were heading to the crew lounge.
